IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

1.   Admissions for B.Tech./MBA/LEET shall be made  on the basis of the inter se merit of AIEEE-2008  through  On-line  Off-Campus  counseling  by  NIC.  

2.   This Admission Brochure is for admission to B.Tech./MBA/LEET courses for the Academic Year 2008-09 only. Its contents are subject to change without prior notice.

3.   Counseling fee for B.Tech./MBA/LEET Courses is Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable) only & shall be deposited by the candidate through www.hscs.org , in the account of Haryana State Counseling Society. The deposit slip to be used in case of cash deposit at bank M-SLIP.Candidates without depositing Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable) shall not be considered for admission for allotment of seat. Candidates are advised in their own interest to deposit  counseling  participation  fee  of  Rs.  500/-  (Non-Refundable)  before  the Registration and to check display of their fee deposited entry on “Payment Status” link on website www.hscs.org

4  Registration  for  counseling  would  be  done  o  www.tehadmissions.gov.in.  A candidate shall be allowed for change of his/her registration details on the counseling websites as and when required before locking of choices during counseling period. In case any candidate changes registration details after submission of choices, but before locking, all choices filled earlier will be initialized and all choices will be required to be filled in again

5.   Locking of submitted choices is compulsory.

6.   There will be three phased counseling, but registration will be allowed only before first phase of counseling. No fresh registration would be allowed after first phase of counseling, so candidates willing to participate in online off-campus counseling will have to register before the first phase counseling as per the dates mentioned in “Key Dates”.

8.   Three phased Counseling will be conducted for admission to AICTE approved B.Tech./MBA/LEET Courses for all the seats of 75% seats of Institute

For B.Tech Only

9.  Allotment of 20% more seats than the sanctioned intake institute-wise in B.Tech (75%  seats   in   case   of   Private   Institutes   and   100%   seats   in   Govt/Govt. aided/University Departments) shall be made to adjust the non reporting/dropouts and vacancy created by sliding of the candidates to other Institutes/States. The excess admissions if any, shall be further adjusted by vacant/unfilled/leftover seats and still excess admissions, if any, shall be adjusted in the 2nd year against LEET seats

10. The institution shall make admission against 25% of the sanctioned seats (including 15% seats for Children/ Wards of NRI’s) at their own level (refer chapter 5 & 7).  The vacant/ leftover/ unfilled seats, if any, as notified by HSCS on website after 3rd phase of counseling, shall also be filled by the institutes.

11. After the result of 1st phase of counseling, the candidate is required to deposit token admission fee of Rs. 20,000/-For BTech and Rs. 10,000/-For MBAin the account of Haryana State Counseling Society through  www.hscs.org,  failing which the candidate shall not be considered for subsequent phases of counseling and would be out of counseling procedure. The deposition of token admission fee will enable the candidate to upgrade the allotted seat in 2nd & 3rd phase of counseling, if seats are available as per candidate’s priority. Same procedure shall be followed for 2nd & 3rd phase of counseling. For details refer Counseling Procedure.

12. Token admission fee deposited is refundable  as per procedure of refund of token admission fee.

13. After the result of 3rd phase of counseling and deposition of token admission fee, the candidate shall report in the allotted centre alongwith the provisional allotment letter generated from the website alongwith all requisite documents/certificates/testimonials and password as per dates mentioned in “Key Dates.  The Joining shall be deemed to  be  confirmed  only  after  online  reporting  by  Institute  in  the  presence  of  the candidate.

14. The institute will update the status of joining/non-joining by a candidate by simply tick marking the checklist online only by checking all the parameters of the check list. The online generated admission slip shall be given to the candidate after successful joining.

15. For  refund  of  token  admission  fee  candidate  shall  apply   online  on  website www.hscs.org before the date of start of session. For details refer Refund of token admission fee in chapter 7.

16. Fulfilling eligibility for B.Tech./MBA/LEET. w.r.t. qualification and percentage of qualifying exam, shall be proved by the candidate not at the time of seat allotment but during reporting at respective institute prior to final cut off date for admissions. A candidate may not be eligible on the 1st day of counseling but may be eligible on subsequent days  of  counseling  due  to  the  reasons,  whatsoever.    The  candidate  may  seek admission at his/her own risk and cost and if he/she is found ineligible at the time of reporting,  his/her  entire  dues  shall  be  forfeited  and  his/her  admission  shall  be cancelled for which he/she shall have no claim, whatsoever.

17.    Under no circumstances the original certificates of the candidate should be retained by  the  institute.    The  candidate  seeking  admission  will  submit  3  sets  of  his documents/ certificates/ testimonials duly attested by the Principal/ Headmaster of the school/college  last  attended/any  gazetted  officer,  at  the  time  of  reporting  in  the institute.  The  Director-Principal/Registrar  of  the  Institute  will  authenticate  these documents/certificates/testimonials after comparing these from the originals and the originals will be returned to the candidate.  One set of these documents/certificates/ testimonials thus authenticated by the institute shall be deposited in the affiliating University, for the purpose of registration, for which no original certificate shall be demanded. Anyhow, if the affiliating University, so desires, the original certificates from the candidate can be demanded through the institute of his admission for any purpose whatsoever these may be.

18.    If a candidate is admitted on the basis of the information submitted by him/her, which is found to be incorrect or false later on, his/her admission shall be cancelled and all fees and other dues paid by him/her shall be forfeited.  The HSCS/ University/ Institute
