COUNSELING
PROCEDURE
(A) Counseling
Procedure
for
all
the
seats
of
75%
Seats of Institutions
to
be
filled
by NIC.
• Admissions to
B.Tech./MBA/LEET
course
in
the
institutes shall
be made through On-Line
Counseling by NIC.
• Candidates
can
register
themselves from
the
premises
of
any
of
the
University Departments/ Govt. /
Govt.
Aided
/ Self
Financing
Participating
Institutions
(PIs)
or
from
any
Internet point of their
choice.

with
contact
addresses
is
available
in
Chapter-4
and
on website: www.hscs.org
or www.techeduhry.nic.in
• On registration, Password
has
to
be
created
by the
candidate, for use
in
future
logins, candidates
are
advised
to
keep
records
of
this
password
secretly
for
their
own
use
only and not to
disclose this to others. In
the event of loss of password or the
candidates forgets the password,
the
same
can
be
retrieved
by
the
candidate
on
replying
the
queries
by
the
system on the counseling
website:
www.tehadmissions.gov.in
Pre-requisites:
1. To participate in
the counseling, it
is
mandatory for
every candidate
to register himself/herself through counseling
website
www.tehadmissions.gov.in
with
correct and complete
information
only after paying the counseling fees on
www.hscs.org
2. Only
those
candidates who have
deposited
non-refundable counseling
fees
of
Rs.500/- through www.hscs.org
are
eligible
for
participation
in
On-Line
counseling(s) and
fill
up the choices priority wise.
They would
only be allowed to fill up
choices priority wise.
Procedure:
1.
Counseling Process would have
three phased seat allotment. The
counseling
would be done
by
NIC using
www.tehadmissions.gov.in.
FOR B.TECH
2.
Filling choices:
Maximum
of 50 choices shall be filled by the
candidate in the following pattern:
Priority
1: 1
to
47
Choices: Priority wise choices
for
a
particular branch in
a particular institute
Priority
2:
48th Choice:
For
a particular branch in any
Institute. For a particular
branch
selected,
four
options
namely,
a,
b,
c,
d
will
be
shown to
the candidate
for
selection
of institute
(with
an
option
to
select
any institute of his
choice for the particular branch
selected) .
Priority
3:
49th Choice:
In
a
particular Institute for
any
branch.
(with
an option to select any
branch of his choice
for the particular institute
selected) For
a particular institute
selected, four
options
namely,
a,
b,
c,
d
will
be shown to the
candidate for selection of
branch.
Priority
4:
50th Choice:
In
any institute any
branch.
FOR MBA
Filling choices:
Maximum of 50 choices shall be
filled by the candidate in the
following pattern:
Priority 1:1 to 49 Choices: Priority
wise choices for particular
institute
Priority 4: 50 th Choice: In
any institute. If the candidate
gives his option for 50th choice, he
/she may be allotted any institute.

Registration
& filling of
choices
should be
completed
before
the last
cut
off
date.No
fresh registration or
filling/
changing
of
choices
after
1st
phase or 2nd phase of counseling will be allowed.
4.
The Inter-se-Merit of the
registered candidates shall be displayed
on website by NIC.The
Inter-se- Merit of the registered
candidates for highest composite
score obtained by a candidate in any
of four valid MAT conducted by AIMA
in Sept.2007, Dec.2007, Feb.2008 &
May 2008. shall be displayed on
the counseling website by
NIC.Registration &filling of choices
should be completed before the last
cut off date.
5.
Result declaration
for
1st phase of seat allotment by NIC.
6.
After
the
result
of
1st
phase
allotment
(
for
details
see
procedure
for
seat allotment) the
candidates
who
have
been
allotted
the
seat
shall
deposit
the
token
admission
fee
of
Rs.20,000-/ For BTech Rs.10,000-/ For MBA
in
HSCS
account by a
due
date,
failing
which the candidate shall
not
be
considered
for
subsequent
phases
of
seat
allotment and
would
be
out of counseling
procedure.The
students
who
have
deposited
the
token
admission
fee would
be considered
for up gradation in
subsequent phase of
allotment.
The
wait-list
students
who were not allotted any
seats
will also be considered
for subsequent
phase of allotment
7.
2nd
phase
of
allotment
(for
details
see
procedure
for
seat
allotment)
shall
be
considered for these wait-list
candidates
who were
not
allotted
any
seat
in
previous
phase
and
for upgradation
of the
allotted seat for
those candidates who
have
deposited
the token admission
fee earlier. Result declaration
for
2nd phase of seat allotment
by NIC
8.
After
the
result
of
2nd
phase
allotment, the wait-list/upgraded
candidates
who
have
been allotted the seat
shall
deposit
the
token
admission
fee
of
Rs.
20,000-/
(who
have
not deposited
earlier)
in
HSCS
account
by
a
due
date,
failing
which
the
candidate
shall
not
be considered for subsequent
phase
of
seat
allotment
and
would
be
out
of
counseling process.
The students who
have
deposited
the
token
admission
fee
of
Rs.
20,000-/
may
be considered
for upgradation in
subsequent phase of
allotment.
The
wait-list
students
who were not allotted any
seats
will also be considered
for
subsequent phase of
allotment.
9.
3rd phase
of
seat
allotment
shall
be
done
for
wait-list
candidates who were
not
allotted
any seat
in
previous
phases
and
for
upgradation
of
the
allotted
seat
for
those
candidates who have deposited the token
admission
fee earlier.
10.
Result declaration
for
3rd
phase of seat allotment
by NIC.
11.
After
result
for
3rd phase allotment,
the
wait-list/upgraded
candidates
who
have
been
allotted
the seat
shall
deposit
the
token
admission
fee
of
Rs.
20,000-/
(who have
not
deposited
earlier)
in
HSCS
account
by
a
due
date,
failing
which
the
candidate
shall
not
be considered for admission
in the allotted
institute and would be out of
counseling process.
12.
The students who have not
been allotted any seat till now are
unsuccessful. |
